REIGINING IN LIFE, Aurthor Tonyea Hawkins

Divinely, Inspired, Victorious, Anointed Sisters

My Friend on Facebook Tonyea wrote this and I just had to share it with all my fans and readers of the blog.  It is sooooooooooooooo true what she has to say and we should all think about life and what we have and be grateful and thankful that we are here and well.  Things may not be perfect but at least we can enjoy and be Thankful for all the things we have.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving

Toyea Hawkins sent a message to the members of Reigning In Life. --------------------Subject: Give Thanks Tomorrow we as a nation designate a day to give thanks. So many will sit at tables with their families and eat some of their favorite foods, laugh and talk, and maybe watch a little football. I pray that we will remember that we should give thanks every day in every occassion. "Thank [God] in everything no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and mediator of that will]. (1Thessalonians 5:18, AMPV) I don't know who or what many people will be thanking tomorrow. Many will thank their lucky stars. Some will thank the universe or some other idol god, but we must give thanks to the Almighty God our Father from whom all good things come. It is he who is our maker. It is He who loves us with an everlasting love. It is He who has kept us and will keep us. It is He who has and continues to bless us. Whatever life looks like to you right now, give thanks to God our Father right in it. For no matter the situation God is still God and The Word is still The Word. Our God is faithful. Have faith in God. Have the God kind of faith; the kind that calls things that are not as though they were and they become. The kind that is alive and potent. The kind that is sure that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The kind that is not moved by what is seen, by what seems obvious to the natural eye. The pilgrims whom we are taught started this Thanksgiving feast gave thanks to God, the one who had brought them to this new land. While we are yet on our pilgrimage through this land let us contiunually give thanks to Him for this is the will of God. It's not about the turkey and dressing, which I thoroughly enjoy. it's not just about spending time with family, which I also thoroughly enjoy. But for us it's about the God who is with us and supplies every one of our needs, and it's about Him every day not just this one in Novemeber. "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness! come before His presence with singing! Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! it is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [ and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations." (Psalms 100, AMPV) Be blessed, Toyea
Hope this blessed your soul,

Dr. MeChelle
